American Council on Gift Annuities

We recommend that you check out the ACGA website to get a little familiarity with who they are and what they do.

ACGA's primary function is to publish suggested charitable gift annuity rates that are used by the vast majority of charities and donors when setting up CGAs. These rates have long been recognized, not only by charities and donors, but also by state insurance departments and the IRS as being actuarially sound and in the best interests of all parties involved. They also provide educational services. Their volunteer board of directors is made up of professionals active in the field of planned giving with some of America’s most well-respected charities. Our co-founder, Laird Yock, recently stepped down from the ACGA board.
